作者简介罗伯特·麦克洛斯基
生于美国俄亥俄州汉密尔顿。他毕业于波士顿的VesperGeorge艺术学院,后得到奖学金,到纽约国家设计学院学习两年后,毕业后到波士顿从事绘制壁画的工作。他通过上班路上在波士顿公园里看到鸭子一家得到灵感,并在家里养了一群鸭子,仔细观察它们的形态,创作出《让路给小鸭子》(1941),荣获了1942年的凯迪克奖金奖,并使这鸭子一家闻名世界。之后,他又创作了《小塞尔采蓝莓》(1948)、《海边的早晨》(1952)和《美妙的时光》(1957),前两部作品荣获凯迪克奖银奖,后一部作品则为他再次获得凯迪克奖金奖,使他成为该奖项历史上第一位两次获金奖殊荣的艺术家。
