[美]吉列尔莫·奥唐奈(Guillermo A.O'Donnell) 阿根廷裔美国政治学家，圣母大学政治学和国际研究Helen Kellog教授，美国艺术和科学院院士，是当代西方政治学界研究威权主义、民主化和民主理论的著名学者。他的代表作《现代化和官僚威权主义：南美政治研究》阐释的“官僚威权主义”模式， 是政治发展理论和拉美政治研究中一个里程碑式的成就。晚近的主要著作有《对位：威权主义和民主化论文集》、《民主的质量：理论和应用》、《国家和民主》等。由于他在比较政治和拉美研究方面的巨大成就，2003年，他被拉丁美洲研究学会授予终身贡献奖； 2006年，被国际政治学会授予终身成就奖。
