作者简介

理查德•斯坦普（Richard Stemp）曾就读于剑桥大学，研习自然科学和艺术史，获得意大利文艺复兴雕刻领域的博士学位。有一年时间在现场及纪录艺术学院（Academy of Live and Recorded Arts）工作。现在一半时间从事艺术史研究，一半时间用于表演。并在伦敦的国家美术馆、泰特艺术馆、白金汉宫及各博物馆授课，还在意大利各地的博物馆和教堂为“海外艺术史”（Art History Abroad）机构授课。曾经为英联邦第4频道撰写和制作电视系列片《国家美术馆的艺术》和《泰特现代艺术馆》。已出版多部著作，包括《文艺复兴的隐秘语言》（DBP，2006）。
