蒲松龄（1640年06月05日－1715年02月25日），字留仙，又字剑臣，别号柳泉居士，清代著名的小说家，著有文言文短篇小说集《聊斋志异》。现山东省淄博市淄川区洪山镇蒲家庄人。世称聊斋先生，自称异史氏，他出身没落地主家庭，连续四次参加举人考试而全部落榜。直到72岁赴青州补为贡考。郭沫若先生为蒲氏故居题联，赞蒲氏著作“写鬼写妖高人一等，刺贪刺虐入骨三分”，老舍也评价过蒲氏“鬼狐有性格，笑骂成文章”。
