作者简介萨马拉，为活跃于美国纽约的平面设计师。他借助STIM视觉传播公司（STIM Visual Communication），忙碌于授课、写作、咨询和开讲座等事务。15年的品牌设计与信息设计，使他经受到印刷设计、包装设计、环境设计、用户界面设计、动画设计等多种项目的熏陶。萨马拉先生目前是纽约大学视觉艺术学院、纽约州立大学伯斯学院和帕森设计学院的教师。他撰写了《平面设计网格的制作与突破》、《印刷工作手册》、《出版物设计完全手册》和《字体风格搜索手册》等著作。
