作者简介皮埃尔·诺拉(Pierre Nora，1931-)，法国著名历史学家和学术编辑，著有《阿尔及利亚的法国人》《现在、国民、记忆》《法国研究》等，主编三部七卷本《记忆之场》。1993年，《记忆之场》获得法国最高国家学术奖，同年“记忆之场”(Les Lieux de Mémoire)词条被收入《罗贝尔法语大词典》。2001年，诺拉当选为仅有四十名定员的法兰西学术院院士。
