作者简介

皮尔斯·安东尼是美国最杰出的奇幻作家之一，在四十多年的写作生涯中，他创作了上百部作品，并赢得了广大读者的热爱和世界级的声誉。

安东尼1934年8月6日出生于英国牛津，1956年在美国佛蒙特州的戈达德学院获得了写作学学士学位。二十世纪60至70年代。安东尼曾是一名异常活跃的科幻作家，但最终使他名声鹊起的，却是他的“赞斯系列”奇幻小说。

他的第一部“赞斯小说”《宾克的魔法》于1977年获得了“英国奥古斯特·德莱斯奇幻奖”，另一部“赞斯小说”《巨怪，巨怪》则是第一本登上纽约时报畅销书排行榜的平装本奇幻小说。他曾经创下了十年内共有23本书登上纽约时报畅销书排行榜的记录。而有一年，他竟然有三本书进榜——斯波凯恩公立图书馆因此在1982年授予他“金笔奖”。目前，他的作品已经被翻译成十多种语言，在世界各国发行。
