弗拉基米尔·雅可夫列维奇·普罗普（Vladimir Propp，1895—1970）当代著名的语言学家、民俗家，是苏联民间创作问题研究的杰出代表。虽然不是俄国形式主义学派中的一员，但他于1928年出版的《故事形态学》一书在研究方法上与形式主义有相通之处，所以也被看作是2 0世纪形式主义思潮的一个推波助澜者。在民间创作研究领域开辟了独具特色的研究方向和方法，享有世界性的声誉。
